JackBe NQSuite 4.5

This week we had the internal release of JackBe’s NQ Suite 4.5: my third large NQ Suite release and my second as the head of the JackBe Engineering Team.
This one comes with several enhancements over the previous version:

  • Added two new objects (Slider and AxisChart).
  • Provides a super-light framework to provide developers an easy way to DnD-enable every JackBe/HTML object.
  • Offers an automatic deployed version control of CSS, Form Behaviors and JackBe Forms files.
  • Our JBTable now provides means for resizing as well as dragging and dropping columns. Additionally we offer an optimized Sortable+Filtered Data Model out-of-the-box
  • Incorporated client side Resource Bundles support to provide means to solve elegantly i18n and L10n within any JackBe enabled application.
  • Several improvements to JackBuilder were integrated, for instance, you can change your styles and they could be reloaded within the canvas area without reloading the entire JackBe Form.
  • Improved the integration offered to Struts Framework by means of several enhancements on JackBe Struts Error object.
  • Opportunity to personalize JackBe Form names and the correspondent function.

Right now we are working very hard in the next release, which will have a lot of surprises that, we are sure, will ease significantly the JackBe development lifecycle.
But, in the meanwhile, congrats to all you guys in the Engineering Team, all of you did a great job.
Now we are ready to go beyond of our own achievements
