Steelers controlling their own destiny

Pittsburgh has won three straight games and now controls its own destiny in securing the final Wild Card berth in the AFC Playoffs. If the Steelers win, they earn the sixth seed in the playoffs. Even if Pittsburgh would lose, it can still make it to the playoffs as a Wild Card with help from other teams.
The following is the scenarios for the Steelers in securing the final Wild Card spot in the AFC:
1. Defeat or tie the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
2. A Chiefs’ loss or tie.
3. A Chargers win (note: although San Diego has been eliminated, if they win vs. the Denver Broncos and they, the Chiefs and the Steelers all finish at 10-6, a division tie-breaker would take place. The Chargers would win the tiebreaker vs. Chiefs based on common opponents (8-4 vs 7-5) and that would eliminate the Chiefs. They would then go to tiebreaker vs. Steelers, which Pittsburgh would win based on its head-to-head win vs. Chargers)
